Jez Spencer
Jez Spencer began his career as a runner in the mid-nineties for Magmasters Sound Studios in Soho, London. He then moved to Headfirst Facilities just down the road in Lexington Street before the first of two spells at the newly founded Bubble TV in 2002.
A year at De Lane Lea followed and then a six year spell at The Edit Store, where he won a BAFTA for Best Sound Factual in 2011. The second spell at Bubble followed, and then in 2013 he embarked on a freelance career, working primarily with BBC and ITN, across many genres.
In 2020, he received an AMPS nomination for the ITN & CH4 production For Sama. This year brings another AMPS nomination for Michael Palin In Venezuela.
