Blockz is our Automator-plugin, for any NRCS (be it our own API-based Cuez Rundown, be it a MOS-based NRCS), containing all the automations towards Automator. On the other hand, it allows an admin user to build the blocks needed by journalists, with their needed text-, label-, lists- and media fields.
Blockz is our ‘plugin of plugins’ for every NRCS out there. This allows our customers for some unique setups. A single newsroom company, or a media-group having 300 newsrooms throughout the country? Blockz can live within any NRCS within every station, within that whole company. From a central admin-side can be controlled how this plugin operates, which fields a journalist fills in for for example lower thirds. It doesn’t matter if some stations use iNews, others ENPS, and others have already moved to Cuez Storydesk and Rundown. Blockz and how you build it, will be the same for all of them. They can change station, NRCS, … Behind the scenes graphics engines, playout devices, … they can change. To the user, nothing changes. Blockz, and Automator tied to it, gives ease of use, consistency and flexibility to users, admins and operators. Within a single station, and within a large media group.
