The definition of a “studio client” has changed dramatically. It’s no longer just broadcasters and established production companies walking through the doors of UK facilities – today’s customers include streamers, digital-first creators, branded content teams, podcasters, esports producers and social-native platforms.

As commissioning models shift and content budgets fragment across platforms, UK studios are being forced to diversify their offering at pace. From flexible stage builds and virtual production capabilities to creator-friendly packages, in-house post, podcast suites and hybrid event spaces, facilities are rethinking both infrastructure and service models.

This session explores how UK studios are responding to the demands of a rapidly evolving production landscape. How are they balancing high-end drama with fast-turnaround digital? What investments are proving worthwhile? Are traditional studio business models still viable? And how can facilities future-proof themselves in an industry where content creators are multiplying faster than ever?
