Going Carbon Neutral On-Set: Aligning Ambition with Reality

This panel examines the widening gap between what productions are expected to deliver on sustainability and what is currently achievable on the ground. Productions are being asked to cut carbon, transition to clean power, and upskill crews, often without the time, infrastructure, or budget, required to make those shifts workable.

But this isn’t a session about what’s impossible. Across the industry, there are already strong examples of reduced energy demand, successful adoption of batteries and hybrid systems, and reimagined workflows. So, why aren’t these solutions scaling?

From commissioning through on‑set delivery, the panel explores what’s enabling progress and what’s holding it back. We’ll unpack the realities, the constraints, and the practical changes needed to make sustainable production the norm rather than the exception.
